A few day ago, BSNL had launched a low-priced tablet called the Penta T-Pad to give some competition to the Aakash tablet. While the government hasn’t even started the bid to select a manufacturer for the production of the second-generation of Aakash tablet, it appears as if other players are taking advantage of this opportunity and are trying to capture this segment. The Aakash tablet is also meant for the school and college students of India, like the ATab tablet. It will be interesting to see which one fares better.
