Samsung is planning to get rid of the home button in its upcoming Android Galaxy smartphones that will enable its high-end smartphones to sport bigger displays without a substantial increase in the size of the device, according to a reliable source. The source tells us that one of the smartphones will sport a 4.7-inch display but was clear he wasn’t talking about the Galaxy Nexus, which has a 4.65-inch display. According to our source, Samsung is also working on a Galaxy Note like device, which will have a 5.9-inch display. The current Galaxy Note has a 5.3-inch display and the extra real estate can also be attributed to the lack of a home button below the display. This could be the successor to the Galaxy Note, which is expected to be launched in India in the third quarter of this year.
