WishTel wishes to take on Aakash 2 with it’s incoming low cost tablet
WishTel is about to unveil a new low cost tablet which is training its corsairs on the Aakash 2. For those who don’t know, WishTel came second after DataWind for the Aakash bidding. WishTel is touting that the new tablet has been made in accordance with IIT Rajasthan specifications and will be manufactured and in India with support for local languages.
WishTel claims that it has incorporated software packages in the tablet for education market including course material for School Education for different state boards, ICSE, CBSE, as well as Education delivery for IIT Engineering courses. It will be interesting to see how this tablet compares with the new upgraded Aakash 2 which will feature a faster processor, a capacitive display and better battery life and perhaps even the Google Play store. WishTel is set to unveil the new device on March 23 in New Delhi.
