Samsung begins rolling out Android 4.0 ICS update for the Galaxy Note but still not in India

Samsung has started rolling out the highly awaited Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Galaxy Note. Alongside the update Samsung is bundling its premium suite of apps for the S-Pen on the Galaxy Note. These apps include the likes of S Note, S-Memo, Shape Match and My Story.

But the update has only started in Germany and the Netherlands and the total download file is about 318MB.

As India also has the global unlocked version of the device, the update should be pretty close. Users can either choose an over the air update or via the Kies Air desktop application that Samsung bundles with the device.

Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for SII in India is still awaited.
